Established in 1993 at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine rivers, Global Connections is a retail store that specializes in women’s clothing and accessories including sterling silver jewellery, scarves, hats, cotton purses and leather bags. We also feature a large selection of imported merchandise including hand painted masks, folk art carvings, world instruments, original paintings, hand-blown Mexican glassware, Guatemalan pottery, Indonesian mosaic bowls and world music. We have recently expanded our jewellery selection, and are proud to offer a large selection of Trollbeads to our customers. We stock most of the available Trollbeads items, including silver and Italian Murano glass beads.

Located in the heart of Winnipeg, Manitoba in the historic Johnston Terminal building at The Forks, we operate under fair trade principles wherever possible.
